Senior Expert Accounting (gn) Investment Closing & Reporting

You manage and are responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closings within Investment Closing & Reporting for international entities with a focus on the UK, in accordance with IFRS, local accounting standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring quality, completeness and timeliness

You act as a technical contact and business partner for international stakeholders, particularly in the UK environment, and coordinate accounting-related topics across borders

You assume a technical leadership role in investment accounting, coordinating international interfaces and supporting colleagues through guidance, sparring and knowledge sharing

You drive project-based and transformational initiatives, particularly in the context of process standardisation, automation and the further development of the SAP-based accounting and reporting landscape

You work closely with auditors and internal interfaces and handle complex investment-related accounting issues in a confident and solution-oriented manner, with high visibility across the group

You hold a degree in business or economics, ideally with a focus on finance, accounting or financial reporting, or a comparable qualification

You have several years of experience in an accounting environment, preferably within investment, financial services or insurance, and possess strong expertise in accounting under IFRS 9

You are comfortable working in complex accounting and reporting structures, think in terms of processes and remain structured even under time pressure

You have strong SAP expertise and an interest in system-related topics as well as in contributing to project-based and transformation initiatives

You are communicative, confident and resilient, enjoy technical leadership, working with international stakeholders, and are motivated to continuously develop both professionally and personally

You communicate proficient in English
