(Junior) HR-Payroll Expert (m/f/d)  

For our customer, a leading IT solution provider for the global travel industry, we are searching for an opend-minded and outgoing (Junior) HR-Payroll Expert (m/f/d) with strong interpersonal and communication skills and an excellent analytical and technical understanding.


Key Responsibilities: 

You take care of the administration of employee data in SAP/HR and Workday

You are responsible for processing and verifying all payroll transactions for salaried and shift employees, Expatriates and Inpatriates incl. shadow-payroll

You handle the pre- and post-payroll administration

You are the first point of contact for payroll, tax or social security related topics

You collaborate with social security and other official authorities and with internal areas like People & Culture teams and Accounting

You have the possibility to participate in local and/or global payroll projects 

You ensure an accurate administration of efficient payroll processes (documentation, accurate archiving based on local laws and creating regular payroll reports) 

You create regular payroll reports and ad hoc special reports (SAP queries)

Key Qualifications: 

You have successfully passed your studies in business administration or have an equivalent education e.g. Tax Consultant or comparable experience as a Payroll responsible

You have multiple years (2+) of professional experience in payroll, preferably in an international HR environment

Your profound user knowledge of an HR system distinguishes you; being experienced with Workday is a plus

A quite good understanding of digital media and all major MS-Office applications (especially very good Excel knowledge) as well as being familiar with a common ERP-System - preferably with SAP/HR - is necessary 

You have experience with a German Payroll IT tool

As a generalist, you always keep an eye on the big picture 

You are a Great team-player and you have the ability to work under pressure

You have good knowledge of social security law and tax law

Very good English and good German language skills are mandatory
